GET TO KNOW THE MAN

Angel's Story
I'm a product of divorced parents, the second oldest of five siblings, grew up in a Baptist Christian church, received many awards and accolades along with my pursuit of a college education where I've earned my Bachelors in Business Administration and my Masters in Higher Education Leadership. One thing that has always pursued me just as much as I was pursuing excelling in life; is the anxiety of not being enough. Initially earning my certification as an enneagram wellness coach, I found my avenue to support my vision to help others live life well and to maximize their time on earth by walking out their callings. My mission through TWI is to remind others what they forgot about themselves; that they're loved, useful and bring value to the world.
GET TO KNOW THE VISION
The WELL
The WELL Initiative (TWI) was inspired with the mission to provide support and encouragement to those who are struggling with mental health, depression and questioning what their purpose is, how do they discover it, and let alone, walk in it. The decline in mental health is just as contagious (if not more) as any other illness we're faced with today; and the cure for any illness is to seek help! Therapy is often considered to be the answer; it may also be unaffordable and inaccessible, especially for people of color (POC). In addition, there are very limited resources to advocate for underrepresented communities. The WELL Initiative is meant to be an alternative resource to support, advocate and empower people to pursue their best selves with more tools and resources.

The name, The WELL Initiative, was inspired by a story from the Bible about a wise man who once confronted a women at a well, who was questioning her existence and her current dissatisfaction in how she was living her life. She was in a very low place. He challenged her in her belief that normal water would not quench her thirst for what she was really longing for. In this story, wells are a resource to assist others to draw water from for strength, nourishment and guidance. The WELL, in the name, is an acronym that stands for, "we’re elevated and living life". The vision for The WELL Initiative is to use my gifts and passions to be a resource to educate, support and advocate for those who struggle to see themselves as they were intended to be seen, loved, valued, purposeful and pursued! If this sounds like you.
